Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox made it through on an allowance for students as well as working part-time to supplement her earnings. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill compared to her student classmates and contemplated a possible alternative route she could take. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a member of the band Dragons Playground. She left the band before they appeared on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. She sang lead for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work for Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. Her first album, Now I'm Letting You Go... is the perfect accompaniment to her work of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some recognition in the 1970s. Later, Lennox was joined by the band with fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva produced many successful tracks, such as Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features version covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of songs.
